Recovery Informed Employment

The Recovery Informed Employment team is working to develop a robust recovery program for employment in the recover community.

Workgroup leads: Katie Berkedal (katie@laxcommfoundation.com) and Sandy Brekke (sabrekke@gundersenhealth.org)

Current Goals:
  • Identify current resources available to those in recovery for employment. (VARC, APTIV, Workforce Development, employment agencies)
  • Research national level programs for best practices and evidence-based programs
  • Convene businesses together and identify what they need to provide support for those in recovery seeking employment
